Add your voice now: Tell the WA Government to protect Gnaraloo’s dingoes, families, and pets from 1080 baiting.
The Department of Biodiversity, Conservation and Attractions (DBCA) plans to drop 1080 and Eradicat poison baits between South Gnaraloo and 6 Mile Gate within the Nyinggulu (Ningaloo) Coastal Reserve.
This program would endanger Gnaraloo’s wild dingoes — an important part of the region’s natural and cultural heritage — along with other native wildlife and family dogs who visit the area. Dingoes are essential to healthy ecosystems, helping to control feral animals and maintain balance across the landscape.
1080 and Eradicat cause slow, painful deaths, putting both wildlife and community safety at risk.
We’re calling on the WA Government to immediately halt all baiting plans at Gnaraloo and protect this iconic coastline — for dingoes, for families, and for the future.
